  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh cloves enhance flavor.
  • 2 cups Milk (whole, low-fat, or plant-based) Use your preferred milk for creaminess.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated Substitute with Pecorino if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Freshly cracked preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Good quality extra virgin recommended.
  • optional Parsley, for garnish Adds color and freshness.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add pasta and enough milk to cover it completely.
  • Simmer and cook pasta as per package instructions, stirring occasionally.
  • Once cooked, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat on the stove with a splash of milk to loosen the sauce.
