  • 6 whole Jalapeños Choose firm and vibrant ones; remove seeds to tone down heat.
  • 8 oz Brie cheese Soft and creamy, can substitute with sharp gouda if desired.
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh or thawed frozen blueberries.
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Brings richness to the filling.
  • 4 slices Bacon Optional, add for a smoky flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Honey For sweetness.
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs For a crispy topping.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil Drizzle for added moisture.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine brie, cream cheese, blueberries, and a drizzle of honey. Mix until well blended.
  • Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  • If using bacon, chop it up and sprinkle over the filled poppers.
  • Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over each filled pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a refreshing dip or colorful vegetables. Pairs well with fruity white wine or light beer. Store extras in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crunch.
